Ken Becker, author of The Expat Files: My Life in Journalism, has been a writer and editor/producer in newspapers, wire service, magazines and television news in the United States and Canada for fifty years.
He has written about crime, politics, sports, books, show biz, travel and other subjects, as long as there was a good story to tell.
As a supervising editor and TV news producer, he guided coverage of wars and Olympics, 9/11 and the deaths of world leaders, while mentoring young journalists.
For 12 years, he taught post-grad students how to report and write.
Born in New York, Ken lives in suburban Toronto.
